Abstract-The teacher will use painters tape to make two large ten frames on the carpet or floor. The idea of playing the Farmer “Chicken Game” is for the students to learn greater than and less than in numbers to ten. The ten frames will be called the chicken coupes, the students will be the chickens in the yard, and the teacher will pick one farmer. Students will be given the rules before being allowed to play the game. As each student is given the opportunity to be the farmer, the teacher can give several Formative assessments to each student as they are guided to learning more than and less than. With the results from the numerous Formative assessments, the teacher can decide which students are ready for more practice on the Illuminations site, and determine which students need more reinforcement activities. As the students’ progress, the games will be played at a faster pace than when they began. This is what the Illumination site looks like: It gives the students with basic needs the option of just working on one section at a time until mastery. It also give the students who quickly grasp the concept the opportunity to be challenged with all four sections.

The assessments that I will be using are in the program Kahoot. The two that I choose were already made, and vary from a basic zero to ten quiz, to a more advanced quiz up to the number twenty. They are in my favorites section. The game code to join the first basic quiz is: 708876. The second more challenging quiz’s code is: 800502.
